General contracting services were provided for a new, 40,000 square foot residential building on the northeast corner of Tenth Street and Third Avenue in the East Village. This building, comprising six levels and a basement, provides 28 units of dormitory housing for the School of Visual Arts. The first floor and basement levels provide approximately 10,000 square feet of retail space, which is tenanted by Commerce Bank.
The building’s a masonry load bearing pre-cast concrete plank structure with the exterior envelope of a McAvoy brick façade and punched windows.

Construction of a new, 22-story, 74,000 square foot residential tower for the School of Visual Arts located adjacent to the school's main administrative buildings, making it an ideal place for student residences. It offers sweeping views of Midtown Manhattan and the East River. The structural steel tower consists of 74 apartments, which accommodate 360 students. The building features the latest technology in access control, intrusion alarms, video surveillance and fire safety monitoring. The ground floor and lower levels offer retail components.
Church of Our Savior & Bishop Moore Tower, 48 Henry Street, New York, NY
This Episcopal Church and community center in Chinatown, New York City, the first built in over 100 years, sits at the base of a 12-story residential tower. Poured-in-place concrete sitting on metal decks supported by a steel frame were transferred to girders below to permit the clear spans required for church functions. This two-story, 17,000 square foot church contains a 3,000 square foot, 174-seat chapel, a 6,000 square foot reception area, a 1,600 square foot community center, church offices, an activity room and classrooms.

Jewish Community Center of Staten Island, Staten Island, NY
Levine Builders provided construction management services for the Alan and Joan Bernikow Jewish Community Center. This new, 115,000 square foot facility is JCC's new flagship building. A two-story plus basement level, steel framed structure with composite floor slabs, this building includes meeting rooms, a Social Hall, gymnasium, as well as an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. A landscaped trellis adjacent to the Social Hall defines an outdoor gathering space.
Sutton Place Synagogue - Education Center, 229 East 51st Street, New York, NY
Construction management services were provided for the construction of the new, six-story 'Marvin and David Sachs Family Educational Center' for Sutton Place Synagogue. Located adjacent to the synagogue on Manhattan's Upper East Side, the educational centers facade was brick and block on three elevations and an elaborate rusticated granite backed by masonry on the front facade, built to match that of the synagogue.
Working within a mid-block site, the discovery of rock during the foundation work presented a logistical challenge, thereby requiring an extensive excavation process with minimal disturbance to the neighboring buildings.
